High School Student Killed While Riding Foot Scooter by Hit and Run Driver in Hampstead, NC
A young man riding a foot scooter was tragically killed on Wednesday morning in a hit and run accident in Hampstead, North Carolina. The accident happened on Highway 17 and apparently involved a 2006 Chevrolet SUV or pickup truck based on debris found at the scene.
The young man that was killed was a junior at Topsail High School. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is actively looking for the vehicle involved in the accident.
