Wendell NC Motorcycle Accident Results in Multiple Injuries
A very serious motorcycle accident in Wendell, North Carolina on Saturday has resulted in injuries to multiple motorcycle riders. According to reports, a group of motorcyclists was travelling on U.S. 64 east as part of a charity ride to Goldsboro, NC when a vehicle threw a beach ball into the roadway. As a result, the bikers braked and several wrecked. Seven of the bikers were taken to the hospital with at least one suffering serious injuries.
As of this time, it is not clear where the beach ball came from but it is suspected it may have been in a boat being towed. Hopefully, the State Highway Patrol can identify the source of the ball that caused this serious accident.
