A gentleman named Michael Kluttz was injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday near Mooresville, North Carolina.

The accident happened on Mooresville Road and was apparently caused by a man who turned left in front of Mr. Kluttz as Mr. Kluttz was riding west on his motorcycle.  As a result, Mr. Kulttz clipped the rear of the pickup and also collided with a third car.  The driver of the pickup that turned left has been charged with an unsafe movement violation.  Mr. Kluttz was transported to Carolinas Medical Center for treatment.

At some point there were apparently witnesses who thought Mr. Kluttz may have been speeding prior to the wreck but NC State Highway Patrol investigating officers concluded that he was not speeding.
