A motorcyclist named Billy Locklear was killed on Friday evening in an accident on N.C. 72 near Pembroke, North Carolina.

The accident apparently happened when a young man delivering a pizza turned into the path of Mr. Locklear just after 6:00 pm.  The location of the accident was near the intersection of St. Anna Road in Robeson County.  The driver of the vehicle has been cited for misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failure to yield.  Mr. Locklear was 72 years of age.
