A serious scooter accident on Monday evening in Roanoke Rapids has a resulted in injuries to a gentlemen named Bradley Denning.

According to reports, Mr. Denning was traveling west on East 10th Street when he was struck by a Toyota car.  The car was apparently turning from 10th Street onto Park Avenue when the accident happened.  The wreck caused serious injuries to Mr. Denning and he was airlifted from the accident scene.  Police are still investigating the accident.

NOTE – We have now been informed that Mr. Denning has passed away as a result of his injuries.  His family and friends have our sympathy.
