Outer Banks motorcyclist Kevin Kopec was killed Saturday in a motorcycle accident on Colington Road.
The accident happened after a few vehicles had apparently slowed in front of Mr. Kopec and he drove into the rear of a minivan. Mr. Kopec was then apparently the thrown from his bike and struck by another vehicle.

This accident raises numerous questions including whetrher Mr. Kopec had adequate time to stop before striking the vehicle ahead. Hopefully, State Highway Patrol investigators can find answers as to what happened in this serious accident.

A gentlemen riding a scooter in Raleigh was killed Tuesday after a crash with a school bus.
The accident happened at the intersection of Chapel Hill Road and Edwards Mill Road around 6:15 am. Apaprently the bus turned left into the path of the scooter. Police have stated that the scooter did not have its headlight on. However, this fact has not been verified and hopefully the police will examine the filament on the scooter headlight to confirm whether the headlight was on or not.

A terrible motorcycle accident has claimed the life of motorcyclist Jeffrey Yarborough of Reeds, NC.
The accident happened on Sunday afternoon in Rowan County near Bringle Ferry and Providence Church roads. Mr. Yarborough was apparently traveling at the speed limit when a car turned left into his path. The other driver was cited for misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.

A serious motorcycle accident early Sunday has claimed the life of the motorcycle rider.
The motorcycle accident happened on Tryon Road in south Raleigh. Apparently, motorcyclist William McGinley lost control of his bike and crashed around 1:00 am. It is not clear what caused ths accident.

A hit-and-run motorcycle wreck in Fayetteville, NC has resulted in injuries to an active duty soldier.
The accident happened on Tuesday on Cliffdale Road at around 3:00 a.m. This hit-and-run accident happened shortly after a shooting on Bragg Boulevard that left another motorcycle rider dead. It is unclear if the cases are related.
In this case, the car was a white or silver four door sedan. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department.

Reports indicate that Raleigh woman Latecia Johnson was killed recently in an ATV accident.
The accident happened on Sunday in Granville County, North Carolina. Apparently, Ms. Johnson was riding on the ATV with her brother when the ATV struck a tree. Both Ms. Johnson and her brother were ejected. Tragically, Ms. Johnson did not survive. Her brother suffered injuries.

A serious motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon near Robbins, North Carolina has resulted in three injuries.
The accident apparently happened when a car pulled into the path of two motorcycles at River and Tommy Roads. Both motorcycles struck the car. Three people were injured and one person was airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries.

A motorcycle and car collided on Carolina Beach, Road in Wilmington, NC on Sunday afternoon resulting in at least one injury.

New Bern, NC motorcyclist Brian Bowden was killed on Sunday when a car pulled into his pather on NC 43.
The accident occurred near the Pitt-Craven County line near the intersection of Wilmar Road. Apparently, a driver of a Oldsmobile care pulled out in front of Mr. Bowden. Mr. Bowden was thrown from his Harley-Davidson. He was flown to Vidant Medical Center but did not survive the accident.
