A serious accident involving an ATV on Friday evening has resulted in the death of one person.
The accident happened around 6:20 pm and occurred in Brunswick County, North Carolina near the community of Ash. According to reports, William Cribb and Anthony Haynes crashed the ATV into a pond. Mr. Haynes, who was the passenger, died in the accident.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon in an accident in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
The accident happened on King Road near Barbour Lake Road just before 1:00 pm. According to reports, a car turned into the path of the motorcycle and then the car hit the rear of another car. The motorcyclist was the only serious injury victim.

A motorcyclist named Jeffrey Harrington was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Concord, North Carolina on Wednesday.
The accident happened around 4:45 pm on the George W. Liles Parkway. Apparently, a 2007 Honda turned left in front of Mr. Harrington causing the wreck. The driver of the Honda claims to have had a flashing yellow light for turning at the ramp intersection for Interstate 85. There is also some indication that Mr. Harrington may have been speeding. Mr. Harrington was transported to Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord for medical care.

There is very little information available about a serious Charlotte NC motorcycle accident that happened on Sunday evening.
The accident apparently happened around 5:30 pm on Sam Wilson Road. As a result of the accident, one person who we believe to be the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries that may be life threatening.

On Sunday afternoon, a motorcyclist in Cary N.C. was seriously injured after a car ran a red light.
The accident happened at the intersection of Weston Parkway and Harrison Avenue. According to reports, the car ran the redlight and hit the motorcyclist as it turned onto Harrison Avenue. The motorcyclist was taken to Wake Med in Raleigh for treatment. WakeMed provides level 1 trauma care for injury victims in the Raleigh area.

It is unsure form the information available whether the driver of the car was distracted at the time of the accident or whether there is some other explanation for the driver running the redlight. A motorcyclist in Wilmington NC was injured on Thursday night when a car turned into his path near UNCW.
The accident happened near the intersection of Hurst Drive and S. College Road at around 10:00 pm. According to reports, the car turned into the path of the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was cited for a safe movement violation.
This type of motorcycle accident is the most common in North Carolina. Hopefully the motorcyclist will be OK and recover from his injuries.

A moped rider in Garner NC was seriously injured on Tuesday evening after he was struck by a pickup truck. The accident happened near the intersection of NC 50 and Umstead Lane. The pickup truck fled the scene after the accident and has not yet been found. It is believed to be a white Toyota with blue lettering on the side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Garner police at 919-772-8810. As a result of the accident, the moped rider was hospitalized with serious injuries.

A serious motorcycle accident happened on Saturday on U.S. Highway 64 near Wendell, North Carolina.
According to reports, a group of motorcycle was traveling east on U.S. 64 as part of a charity ride. A vehicle in front of the motorcycles apparently lost an object, possibly a beach ball, which caused the motorcyclists to brake and lose control. Numerous motorcyclists were taken to local hospitals with injuries including possible broken bones and road rash.

A moped rider named Graham Shepley was killed on Friday night in an accident in Asheville, North Carolina.
The accident happened on Patton Avenue at the intersection of Mimosa Drive. According to reports, a driver of an Oldsmobile was turning left onto Mimosa Drive when the wreck happened. It is not clear from the news reports who was at fault in this tragic accident.
