Michael Thatcher Killed in Fuquay-Varina, NC Motorcycle Accident
A young man named Michael Thatcher was tragically killed on Thursday night in a multi-vehicle accident near Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.
The tragic accident happened around 8:20 p.m. near the intersection of N.C. Highway 42 and Johnny Baker Road. According to available information, a teenage girl was distracted because she was adjusting her air conditioning when she rear-ended a passenger car that was pushed into the lane in which Mr. Thatcher was traveling.
The teen driver has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed. Mr. Thatcher was 27 years old.
