A gentleman named Alfredo Madrid from Miami, Florida was killed on Tuesday evening in a motorcycle accident in Watauga County, North Carolina.  Based on what we know, Mr. Madrid was riding a motorcycle on U.S. 321 with three other motorcyclists when a woman driver crossed the center line and hit the bikers.

As stated, Mr. Madrid was killed in the accident and the other motorcyclists were taken to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.  One of the motorcycles was occupied by a husband and wife riding in tandem.

The vehicle that struck the bikers was a 2003 Audi driven by a woman who was apparently impaired.  She was also injured and is expected to be arrested following her medical treatment.

The motorcyclists were apparently on a trip from Florida to Michigan when the accident happened.
