It is unclear from the information available on this accident why the tanker truck pulled out into the path of the motorcyclists. In some cases, video surveillance from the truck stop may provide valuable insight into how and why this accident happened. Hopefully, the investigating troopers have secured any available video surveillance. Additionally, the on board computer program on the tanker truck should be immediately downloaded to hopefully gather important information about the actions of the truck driver before the accident.
