Craven County Accident Kills Teen Pushing Dirt Bike
A 19 year old boy named William Rivera pushing his dirt bike along a road was killed Thursday evening in Craven County. The accident happened near the intersection of Honolulu and Harris Road at around 7:00 pm. According to reports, Mr. Rivera was pushing his dirt bike heading south in the northbound lane.
Based on the very limited information available on this accident, it is very difficult to determine if the driver of the vehicle may be at fault. For instance, did the dirt bike have working reflectors of a headlight that should have alerted the driver that the dirt bike was in the road. Hopefully, investigators will be able to determine whether these factors played a role in this accident.
