The information available on this accident does not indicate why the driver of the Ford did not see the motorcycle.  In some cases such as this, we have found that drivers may be distracted by the use of cell phones or similar devices although there is not any indication of that in this case.  Nonetheless, this type of information may be important for an attorney determining the strength of a civil claim for wrongful death.
