Wilmington NC Motorcycle Accident on Carolina Beach Road Causes Injuries
Two people on a motorcycle were seriously injured on Sunday morning on Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington, North Carolina.
The wreck happened near the intersection of Carolina Beach Road and Cathay Road at around 10:45 am. According to available information, a driver of a Nissan Altima ran a red light and hit a motorcycle that was trying to turn left.
A male driver and female passenger on the motorcycle were both seriously injured and transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan was charged with a red light violation.
