Harold Taylor Killed in Durham NC Moped Crash
A gentleman named Harold Taylor was tragically killed in a Durham NC moped crash on Monday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of North Guthrie Avenue and Juniper Street at around 7:45 am. According to available information, a person driving a 2018 Nissan Altima failed to adequately stop at the stop sign on Juniper Street at the intersection with North Gurthrie Avenue. The Nissan proceeded to hit Mr. Taylor as he rode on his Tao Tao moped. Police have determined that Mr. Taylor had the right of way.
Mr. Taylor was 59 years old and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
