Motorcyclist Steven Rhymer Seriously Injured in Thomasville NC Wreck With SUV
A gentleman named Steve Rhymer was riding his motorcycle near Thomasville, North Carolina on Saturday evening when he was hit by an SUV. The wreck happened on U.S. 29/70 near the intersection with Litwin Drive at around 8:48 pom. According to available information, Mr. Rhymer was traveling on US 29/70 when the SUV, a Toyota 4Runner, tried to cross all four lanes of US 29/70 and drove into Mr. Rhymer’s path.
Mr. Rhymer was severely injured and transported to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for treatment.
The police are apparently still investigating this accident. However, it would seem likely that the driver of the SUV would be charged with at least a failure to yield in this case.
