Raykwon Reid Killed in Wilmington NC Motorcycle Collision
A gentleman named Raykown Reid was killed on Wednesday evening in a motorcycle collision in Wilmington, North Carolina. The wreck happened around 6:00 pm near the intersection of 30th Street and Princess Place Drive. According to available information, Mr. Reid was traveling north on North 30th Street on a dirt bike when he collided with a van that was turning left onto Princess Place Drive.
The information available does not indicate that charges have been filed against the van driver. Based on this information, it is not clear that the van driver did not turn across the path of Mr. Reid. If that were the case, then we would expect charges for failure to yield and misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. If we learn more about this tragic accident, we will update this post.
