William Jenkins Killed in Raleigh NC Moped Accident
A gentleman named William Jenkins was tragically killed in a moped accident on Sunday evening in Raleigh. The accident happened on Capital Boulevard at around 10:40 pm near the intersection with Capital Connection Road.
According to available information, Mr. Jenkins was driving in the southbound lanes when he was hit from behind by a man driving a sedan. The collision knocked the moped about 200 feet and resulted in the death of Mr. Jenkins. The driver of the sedan has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and a failure to reduce speed. Mr. Jenkins was 41 years old.
