William Baker Killed in Hertford, NC Motorcycle Crash
Motorcyclist William Baker Jr. killed in head-on collision near Hertford, North Carolina.
A motorcyclist named William Baker Jr. was tragically killed on Monday in a head-on collision with a Nissan Sentra on Harvey Point Road near Hertford, North Carolina.
The crash happened at around 2:45 pm when the driver of the Nissan Sentra apparently crossed the center line and hit Mr. Baker head-on. Mr. Baker was driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Mr. Baker, who was 58 years old, was from Hertford, North Carolina.
Charges are pending against the operator of the Nissan who was also injured in the collision. At the present time, there is no indication as to why the operator of the Nissan crossed the center line.
