Two motorcyclists named Joseph Feliz Jr. and Leslie Haddock were tragically killed on Thursday when the motorcycle they were riding was hit from behind by a tractor trailer in Greenville, North Carolina. The accident happened around 8:10 pm on N.C. highway 11 near the intersection of Alexander Brown Road.
According to available information, the two motorcyclists were traveling south on N.C. 11 when the tractor-trailer rear-ended them. The wreck remains under investigation by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
This is a very serious accident and it would appear to have been preventable had the driver of the tractor-trailer been paying more attention to the road. Joseph Feliz as 50 years old and Leslie Haddock was just 41 years old.
