The accident apparently happened when a pickup truck pulled from a driveway on Cedar Hill Road and there was a head-on collision with Mr. Maness. The accident happened around 5:00 pm. There is very little information available about how this accident happened. In most cases, a collision such as this occurs when the driver pulls into the path of the motorcyclist and the accident does not occur in a head-on manner. However, the reports here suggest it was a head-on collision. We expect that significantly more information will be available once the State Highway Patrol completes their investigation.
