Oak Ridge North Carolina Motorcycle Accident Results in Two Serious Injuries
A serious accident involving a motorcycle and a car on Tuesday afternoon in Oak Ridge, North Carolina has resulted in serious injuries. The accident happened at the intersection of Marketplace Drive and NC 68 when a car pulled out from Marketplace Drive causing the motorcycle to collide with the car. The driver of the motorcycle and a passenger on the motorcycle were seriously injured.
The information available regarding this serious accident does not provide very much detail about what happened. However, it would appear that the car turned into the path of the motorcycle and that the motorcycle had no opportunity to avoid the collision. If so, it is not clear whether the driver of the car was distracted or what may have caused this driver to pull into the path of the motorcyclist. Hopefully, the State Highway Patrol will be able to provide more information.
