High Point Teen Injured in Motorcycle Accident
A teenager riding a motorcycle was injured in an accident with a Jeep SUV on Tuesday evening in High Point, North Carolina. The accident happened around 7:30 pm near the intersection of Commerce Avenue and Evans Street. Apparently, the driver of the Jeep failed to yield to the motorcyclist causing the motorcyclist to hit the rear quarter panel of the Jeep.
Following the crash, the driver of the Jeep was apparently pulled from the Jeep and assaulted by some on-lookers. The driver of the motorcycle, who was 15 years old, and the driver of the Jeep were both taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the Jeep was charged with a failure to yield.
