Two brothers named Eddie Santiago and Hector Santiago were killed on Thursday in a terrible accident in Bladen County, North Carolina.

The accident happened on NC Highway 53 at around 12:30 pm.  According to available information, the brothers were riding their motorcycles near the intersection of Pearl Lloyd Road and NC 53 when an SUV pulled directly into their path.  Eddie Santiago died at the scene and Hector Santiago died at a hospital a few hours later.  The driver of the SUV has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
