A husband and wife from Whitsett, North Carolina were involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Saturday while riding their motorcycle near Salem, Virginia.

The accident happened on Virginia Route 112.  It is not clear from reports what caused the accident but it involved a 2006 Dodge Charger.  As a result of the accident, Barry Capps was tragically killed and his wife Shelby Capps was injured.

There is very little information about this accident except that it appears that the Dodge and the motorcycle were traveling in the same direction when the accident happened.  Given the serious nature of the accident, hopefully local police will thoroughly investigate all possible causes of the accident.
