Outer Banks Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Kevin Kopec
Outer Banks motorcyclist Kevin Kopec was killed Saturday in a motorcycle accident on Colington Road.
The accident happened after a few vehicles had apparently slowed in front of Mr. Kopec and he drove into the rear of a minivan. Mr. Kopec was then apparently the thrown from his bike and struck by another vehicle.

This accident raises numerous questions including whetrher Mr. Kopec had adequate time to stop before striking the vehicle ahead. Hopefully, State Highway Patrol investigators can find answers as to what happened in this serious accident.
