New Bern, NC motorcyclist Brian Bowden was killed on Sunday when a car pulled into his pather on NC 43.

The accident occurred near the Pitt-Craven County line near the intersection of Wilmar Road.  Apparently, a driver of a Oldsmobile care pulled out in front of Mr. Bowden.  Mr. Bowden was thrown from his Harley-Davidson.  He was flown to Vidant Medical Center but did not survive the accident.
