With the warmer summer months upon us, unfortaunte and terrible wrecks like this will continue to happen unless drivers start paying more attention to bicyclists, moped riders and motorcyclists.  Hopefully, the driver of the car will be treated accordingly under the laws of North Carolina for hitting a moped that had the legal right to be on the road.
