A terrible wreck on Saturday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.

The wreck apparently happened when a tractor-trailer rig on Reynolda Road turned in front of a motorcycle driven by Mr. Daniel Lee Eastmen of Winston-Salem.  As a result, Mr. Eastmen was killed when he struck the rear of the tractor-trailer.

This accident is under investigation but police have commented that the motorcycle was going too fast when the collision occurred.  Nonetheless, that should not necessarily absolve the tractor-trailer of responsibility in this wreck particularly if the tractor-trailer could have seen the motorcycle and still chose to turn into his path.
