United States Marines Make Motorcycle Safety A Priority
I recently found an interesting an important article describing how the United States Marines and Navy will be making motorcycle safety a priority.
Apparently, 19 Marines died in 2007 in motorcycle crashes. In 2008, 25 Marines died in motorcycle crashes. After providing significant motorcycle safety training in 2009, the number of motorcycle fatalities dropped but the number has started to rise again. Apparently, 56% of recent motorcycle deaths involving Marines were connected to a lack of training.
